This is the lead singer of Portland Indie rock band Y La Bamba performing a solo number she wrote and recorded in 2017. Luz is a first generation Mexican American. She mixes the sounds of the rancheras, corridos, boleros and huapangos songs she grew up listening to with the modern sounds of the Northwest rock/singer-songwriter aesthetic.
